Sissthra - Part OneAs I left the shower, I nearly bumped into my brother Robert; he was still carrying the newspaper that was a day old which said Snakes Conquer West Coast in Helvetica on its front page. I had wanted to forget about it, though I supposed that it did not matter how long of a shower I took, I would still have to come back to the real world. Dad was sitting at the table, and he scraped mud off his workboots with a pocketknife.
